Soft-floor-aphobia

Soft-floor-aphobia Anybody else suffer from this? Our first TT was a used hybrid that had soft spots in the floor that were growing so fast we sold it at a loss. We bought a new 238rb last fall. Now every time I walk through it an think something doesn't feel right I get a "oh no" feeling in the pit of my stomach.

I know it's all me but has anybody else had a bad experience that still worries them?

you're not alone. Its the "price" we pay for "ultralite" trailers.

We had an old TT that just sat in seasonal site before we picked it up dirt cheap, served us well for several years. It had had some water leaking around a window that was repaired at some point, but no real damage to the outside or any delamination.

After having it for several years we rescued a GSD who runs and kicks in his sleep. We found out the damage was to the inside wall, it was very soft and the dog kept kicking big holes in it. A little while later later the header over the slide started sagging from rot.

So I'm a bit OCD about water leaks in the new one. constantly checking everything.

I, on the other hand wanted a soft floor for "Tunce" so I installed one. Their 2'x2'x5/8" foam soft floor squares and it's wall to wall. We love walking on it too so this one is a win for all of us.

Check any psychology textbook. You'll find your problem in the 'boringly normal' chapter.
