I installed the Microair Easystart on my previous trailer. Allowed me to run to run my air conditioner on a Honda EU2000i. It was a worthwhile investment for dry camping.

Soft start posts

LOTS of posts on soft starts.
Use the Jayco Rv programmable search (link below) and enter soft start.

Short answer is yes they work. The best part I like is when the AC comes on you don't get that loud swoosh sound, it comes on quietly and I run it with a 2000i Honda. I use the SoftStart.

Micro Air easy start is the best. They usually have a discount coupon you can use.
Try this code

The EasyStart 364 Soft Starter For RV and Marine By Micro-Air, Inc.
