I blocked off the open back end of my pin box with plasticor held on with heavy duty Velcro, has been in place 5-ish years. The void at the topper ends I plug with “nerf” footballs (the Bride spotted some knock-offsat a $ store. I also shove the stick of a whirlybird-gig (don’t know the real name) in a hole in the end-cap of the topper roller. Works great but it’s one more thing I gotta do before hitting the road. Spring is just round the corner and the little feathered guys will be busy trying to lure a “babe” home, not on my turf.
