Spring Fever = Work!
Yesterday was nice outside so I worked on the trailer most of the day. Here`s what I got accomplished:
Inspected seals on roof and roof itself, all looked good as I had touched up with Dicor last Fall.
Washed roof, cleaned out gutters. Not one of my all time top ten favorite jobs.
Washed awning, top and bottom. Scrubbed with bleach and water then rolled it back up for 15 mins. Rolled it back out, rinsed and dried. Good to go.
Washed trailer. I used Camco RV wash and wax I picked up in town for $5.00. It did a good job of cleaning the trailer. The wax part, well that is probably marginal and no substitute for hand wax.
Applied 303 protectant to all decals and plastic parts.
Went through and rearranged my storage bins in rear compartment. Took out unneeded stuff and noted shortages.
Cleaned out and rearranged front storage.
Treated slide seals with slide seal lube spray.
Replaced battery in smoke detector, it was the original.
Waxed trailer -NOT I did enough for one day.

Sounds like you had a long day, but fruitful. How often do you do the slide seal lube?

Good job, Crabman. I did pretty much this same routine about a month ago but we had some really nice weather in the low 70s at the time. Sure looked nice when it was done.

Same here about a month ago, wanted to get roof done before all the green pollen. Not much of a winter here in south east texas.

Oh... how I wish that I was doing that today... I am getting it "road ready" for it's trek back to the dealer for my list of warranty items. Still, something about taking the cap off the truck, installing the 5th moving the items which I winter stored under the front (like the plowing tractor) feels great! Tomorrow morning it goes on it's first trip, sad part is we won't be with it

The can says every 2-3 months. I have done it once a year, probably not enough.

cbaka, here's an alternative for the stove if you're interested. We bought this for around $20 and I am really impressed with it. Looks great and it doesn't move at all, even when we're underway.

Looks like the price has gone up by about $10 but it's an awesome cutting board that doubles for counter space when you need it.

Yesterday, we got up to 79 degrees...today it is snowing....until the weatherman just now said it would be cold thru Sunday, my plans were to wash/wax the 5er Saturday. Ohhh, the sacrifices we have to endure to live in West Texas. And tornado season starts in 2 weeks.

Tis the season to be busy. I washed all the trailer this time. I washed most of it last week just before the dust storm.

I ordered this today along with a water heater wrench, speed bit for my drill, and an inline water filter.

Let us know how you like it. I mean that sucker doesn't move 1/4" when we're traveling. Love it.
