Just another nail in Camping Word's public opinion coffin. This is an unbelievable story. I can't imagine the frustration that family is feeling right now...

CW doesn't seem to accept responsibility for anything. Wonder how they would react if one of their unsold units was stolen from their lot.

I'd sue the pants off them...especially the local store where the servicing was done...but probably have a clause in their service agreement that CW not responsible for "anything"...

This is about the third or fourth case of stolen RV's I have read about since I joined. Hard to believe there are dedicated RV thieves out there. Just bought this Fort Knox heavy duty lock that fits over the Andersen Ultimate hitch adapter over the King Pin. very heavy unit. A dedicated thief can still steal it, maybe slow him down a bit.

Their president must not be happy because his slogan is "If your not happy, I'M not happy!"

Dealership didn't notify us when our F450 was broken into. Why? Because the people who moved/worked on it are so accustomed to people bringing in "trashed" vehicles they found nothing wrong. DW found it when they brought the truck around for pick up.

Back to CW. Quite a few years ago about 12 different RV places were broken into, including CW. After that last break-in, they put heavy duty fencing (heavier than before) plus electricity wires throughout. There were signs all over about the electricity running through the fencing. As mentioned there is probably legal language from CW about no responsibility, etc. But very frustrating nonetheless.

You honestly think he cares .. its a slogan .. which in reality means. "Give me more and more of your money" so I can be richer and not pay taxes!!!

It will never end if people keep buying and getting RV service from them. I’m guilty of buying things from them that are on sale only, or if I break down and their the only game in town that has what I need! But my mindset is changing about them more and more that I read about their horrible stories!

Anytime you take a vehicle in for service, do a walk around with the service rep and take photos before you leave.
