Storage areas by fireplace electric heaters

We were out during the holiday break for three wonderful nights of camping. I think the coldest night was 22 with a wind chill of 16 degrees. We use a ceramic heater in the bedroom and the fireplace in the living area. When we were packing up and removing everything from the trailer my wife noticed allot of condensation in the cabinets next to the fireplace. Which on our unit is in the slide with the entertainment and kitchen. I am wondering if anyone has insulated that area from the outside in the storage area. Looking for thoughts and ideas.
