Sway bar

First experience with a friction sway bar. Dealer said to tighten using one finger and then 1/4 turn further. What do you think.

I tighten until it won't tighten anymore and then back it off a bit. I'll adjust if necessary. If I tightened using one finger it wouldn't be on much at all.....

I used to tighten mine pretty good. Never had problems and it worked like a champ!

Welcome to JOF

For future reference (mounting, adjusting, etc.) I would confirm that your RV dealer provided you with all the OEM documents that came with your specific WDH and Friction Sway Control Bar....., they will come in handy down-the-road.
