SWIFT Models Discontinued for 2015?

Are the SWIFT models discontinued for 2015?

I was on the Jayco site today in order to send a link to a friend and noticed that it was updated for 2015 JayFlight and JayFlight SLX, and mention of the Swift versions are gone.

So I dug a little deeper and it appears this is bit like pre-swift days when you had the JayFlight and Jayflight G2...but now it is the JayFlight and JayFlight Elite.

I am aware they have had an Elite package for number of years in the JayFlight line, but the contents of that package have changed considerably.

This is always bitter sweet, but this time I am happy I have the unit I have. the 29QBH is now the 29QBS and no longer has quad bunks but rather adds an outside kitchen. I guess the outside kitchen is where the general market and I disagree -- I can't see the value it, but I know many do. Guess it has a lot to how and why you use you TT. For us dry camping in bear country isn't the place for either Chill N Store nor outdoor kitchen.

I noticed the same thing when I was on the Jayco site the other day. Our 264BH is perfect for us, sorry that Jayco has discontinued the line.

Last weekend I camped next to a Swift with the 2015 graphics and fender wells.. so this kinda surprises me. I assume that maybe they are just using the graphics to finish out the line? not sure... either way it really doesn't make a difference. From what I saw when looking for our JayFlight, its really just a package change for the same camper as the "standard" JayFlight. Jayco has done this before as well as other companies. I remember when the Jayflight was a stripped down entry level camper. Before that was the Qwest which started out very stripped down as well. However, by 2003 it was a very well equipped model. Oh well.. Happy Camping!
