Tail lights on camper

Has everyone noticed we have back up lights on the new Eagle models. Not sure all models have them. Pretty cool

Yup, it was introduced in the 2018 or 2019 model year as the JaySMART system, I believe (Safety Markers and Reverse Travel). I like having the upper corner lights and side markers flash along with the turn signals.

I haven't appreciated much benefit from the backup light illumination, wife still spots me with a flashlight if we happen to roll into a non-pull through spot at night. But I do think that they would be useful in signalling your intentions to a vehicle behind you if you were to find it necessary to back up.

What would be really handy on truck, as when I before retirement if the backup lights on truck would not turn on when backing up. That big white screen from the trailer being lit up by the backup lights on trailer really mess it up. Also have installed "rock lights" on bottom of trailer bluetooth and RGB so I can turn them on from truck and light up the whole landing area.

I have always thought backup lights should have been installed. The 7 pin wire harness has always had the wire. It's just been capped off. I have thought about adding my own, but have never gotten to it. (Mostly been concerned about how low my TT is, and it almost scraps my driveway now.)
