We live in Michigan, and take our TT to Alabama in the Fall for winter storage. Then, we can use it in the South when we get fed up with the Michigan winter.

We winterize it when we're done with our trip, as nighttime temps can still get below freezing while it's in storage.

In the Spring, we take a trip, and when we're done, we take it back to Michigan for the summer. We still have to re-winterize it because of freezing temps.

Winterizing only takes us about 15 minutes. Easy.

Every year. We go to Florida in February for 2-3 weeks. We winterize in North Carolina on the way back home.

I come back from just north of Santa Barbara in late November and when leaving I drain the system and water heater. Depending on weather conditions up north I have two locations I can stop at and winterize that's convenient for me. One is Rolling Hills Casino north of San Francisco about 100 miles or 7 Feathers Casino north of Medford,Or.Each location is a day's drive for me Then I'm done till late March.
