Target has great deals on camping supplies!
After much research on the internet on where to get the best supplies for the new trailer, Target came out as a clear winner for me. I live in Canada, and even with the drive and the duty paid, they had the best quality and prices on many items I needed.
Of particular note.. They have very durable melamine dishes in many beautiful colors and patterns. These dishes are thicker and nicer than any others I could find.. and believe me I looked. Most were priced at $2.49
The other deal was bath towels at $3.00 each.. really big and thick!
I also found very light storage stools which will work great in our 28bhs, for putting our feet up and stowing our computer gear and games. $24.00
We pick up our trailer on April 27th, and I will post photo's soon after of the funky and fun interior dressing I am adding to it.

That is where I bought my dishes & (plastic) glasses from. The dishes look like pottery, but are actually melamine.

We go to the USA often as we live only 10 minutes from the border. When we were going to stock up our trailer, we went camping at Four Mile Creek State Park right on Lake Ontario, beside Fort Niagara. That way we could spend a lot and not pay duty, plus we got a nice camping trip out of it. We also got our melamine plates at Target.

Thanks Crabman for keeping us on topic..
Me thinks this thread may have been a little too feminine for some of the guys..
Just wait till I post my makeover pictures.. and discuss color choices ... I shall need to mark it " warning this thread may cause feelings of extreme discomfort for some men"...
But don't worry.. I'll just get my husband to include some photos
of the hitch and undercarriage!! LOL

Lady Wendolyn, keep those color choices coming!! And coordinated bath towels and sofa pillows!!! Women campers are here to stay!!!! WOO HOO
lol
We found a great rug runner perfect for summer to put on the kitchen floor and it covers the heat vent also. Keeps stuff from falling in there. It is a brown/cocoa split color and I found coffee colored throw pillows for the sofa!
Looks really nice in our "Flame Buster" 23FB G2.

I have bought pretty throw pillows for the couch, placemats for dinette, and the runner (covering the heat vent) is a perfect idea!!

Where did you find the rug.. the heat vent is my pet peeve. We were going to buy a 28R just to avoid the heat vent even though it didn't have as nice of features as this one.

I imagine I will buy a runner at Walmart or Target. I bought a small rug for doorway at Walmart. I bet they have the matching runner. I'll just need to remember to roll it up before putting in the slides! I also bought a spongy mat (with chickens!) to place at my sink floor. It feels so good on my feet & transports easily when slides are in.
