That time of the YEAR already...

YUP!!!! IT IS....... time to check your RV

WOW...it is October 1st ALREADY!!!!

If you have already put your RV in storage (or are using it) it is

TIME TO CHECK YOUR:

- Battery voltage!!!
- Battery(s) water level!!!
- Batteries terminal connections!!!
- AC air FILTER!!!
- Check your tire pressure!!!
- LP Levels!!!
- TT Tire Pressure!!!
- TEST CO alarm!!!
- TEST SMOKE detector!!!
- TP (stock up)
- Replace your PEPPERMINT oil in your storage compartments.
- Enough BEER in Fridge!!

- Winterizing????
- Remove all the liquids from the storage areas.
- Empty the fridge... wait if there is any beer left in the fridge turn on the radio and drink what ever is left... call for an UBER lift after emptying the fridge. Set an alarm for the next day telling you where you left your TV.
- Battery fully charged? Hope so!!!
- Pull the main fuse, or use the disconnect switch.. if you installed it this year?
- Pull up your stabilizers incase your tire(s) go flat, as the stabilizers are not designed to support a lot of weight
- Blow out your water lines!!!
- If you feel insecure with the above suggestion follow it up with some pink antifreeze in your water lines. Use the fresh water pump. Do not forget to switch the valves on the hot water heater to bypass first.
- Don't forget to empty the supply water line to the toilet
- Drain your tanks!!!
- Pull in your slide outs.

After doing the above, finish up by taking a nap in the TT for the last time this year.

Have a GREAT DAY!!!

Don

storage? What's that?

Winter to me means getting out the large propane tank and the heated water hose

Full time in South Carolina.

Winter here in Florida means making sure the AC still works.

Adding:

Check the A/C gasket for tightness (replacing mine this year, just because)
Don't forget the ice maker line if you have one

I also remove most soft goods from the TT, and load my kayaks and a few other bits of summer sports gear inside the TT for winter storage.

we just got overnight about a foot of that white stuff..............but we're still camping.
If your camper is in storage you can still haul RV's from Indiana to any destination.....it is their busy season of the year.

I just saw something I have never heard of before, "Replace the PEPPERMINT oil in the storage areas". What do you use the peppermint oil for in the storage areas?

Thanks.
