The Advantages In Full Time RV'ing

The power went out approx 11 hours ago during a major thunderstorm yesterday afternoon, but here I sit with a hot cup of coffee, TV on watching the local news, etc. All compliments of my RV and a built in Onan 5500.

Life is good. I hope no one was injured or suffered major damage.

The power company's web site tells me my power is off and the estimated fix time is:

"Estimated Repair Time:
Evaluating"

Ed,

I feel your pain! I was without power for 8 days in Texas during the cold snap last winter. But thanks to my gennie, I was able to make coffee, eat, and stay warm.

You're right, full timing is "A Wonderful Life"!

Update: Power just came back on after being out for 15 hrs. Major tree damage 1 mile south of me that took out a major power line feeding the town.
