Well, my MEGR 253HP FINALLY arrived today, from Amazon. Ordered it 13 August 2021, but I am still waiting on the stealership to tell me the cheap Jayco replacement has arrived....

Carefully check the welds on your receiver. I sent mine back after inspecting the welds. I’ve never welded but I’m pretty sure I could have done a better job one handed with a blindfold on.

Inside Job

I ordered these dimmers for the interior and awning LEDs. Can't figure out how to wire them into the strange (to me) wiring behind the dual switch. Can't locate a ground wire.

You still have to crimp the wires after inserting and before heating. Heat gun works best but a propane torch or even lighter will do in a pinch.

I’ve used them on several projects now and haven’t had to crimp them. Just strip the wire, place in the tube and heat.

All four of my rigs have had solar. This one will be the best as I have so much more experience with installing them.

Make sure to post your solar tips here. I've been adding, updating and changing my setup for the last 1.5 years. Initially i wasn't to thrilled with with it but after updating adding more panels & Lithiums i really appreciate the power it provides. Never thought i would love Boon-Docking, now it seems that all we do.

I think it was worth the wait. Marshall makes a quality product you should never have to worry about.. Defiantly 10 notches better than what the dealer would have set you up with. I have the same one and haven't had the problems getting the Hot Water tank & stove going like i did before. Be interesting to hear your experience on same.

My apologies. I didn’t catch that in your original post. I’ve never seen this type with the built in solder. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

SuperSteer SS401 Rear Trac Bar and Safety Plus arrived today.
Good thing my wife looked out the window. They dropped in front of the garage and ran didn't even ring the doorbell.

Now if they could just find a delivery driver Jayco will send the finished RV to the dealership.

Regards,

John

Got 2 new Bilstein shocks for the front of the TV. Hopefully it improves the ride a bit…I don’t expect much, as it’s a 1 ton dually!Click image for larger version
