The Bontrager Affect

We are in the hunt and looking at most manufacturers with a open mind. I am aware Derald Bontrager returned to Jayco and took the role of Pres and CEO back in April. Is there any real advantage to him rejoining the company or is it going to have any real affect on the quality and innovation?

He never left, he was COO he took over as PRES and CEO after his brother retired, he took over as COO again as well as PRES and CEO when Thompson left.

Nah ...IMHO seal will not seal better , floor will keeps creaking, bubble level wont be used more than now, in conclusion you wont see any improvement on initial quality . Because ? because a RV is a RV ... like a pig is a pig but a Jayco is also a pig, but a good looking pig with lipstick :-)

Love the sarcasm and analogy. I was hoping to be lied too!! I am use to it after visiting all the RV dealers. They all think we just rolled off the truck and it is amusing to sometimes play the role and allow them to insert thy foot in thy mouth. Most times we know more than they do.

Appliance repair technician

I have service repair business. Up in the north east, Massachusetts.
I have been making repairs on Jayco travel trailers for the last two years, either at residence or camp ground.
The stories I am hearing from customers are that when they bring a trailer in for service. The RV service centers have there trailers for months ,2,3 or even 6 months. So they call me. An onsite repairman.
I would like be be a certified repair technician for Jayco. Can you help me?

You would need to contact JAYCO direct. This site has no connection to the factory.
