The Forum and meeting other members
I’ve been on the Jayco Forum for a couple of years, now, and have read everything from all of you for this length of time. Most of what is on the blog is very informative, some not so, and some of the subjects are somewhat repetitive. However, I have overall totally enjoyed hearing from all of you.
Throughout my interaction, I have, as most of you, been in contact with so many people whom we, unfortunately, will never get the opportunity to meet with.
Through the Forum, I extended our home to a couple who were traveling through Kingman, AZ, on their way to California. As a result, we met with Jimmyd and his lovely wife Ruth.
They stayed at our home on our RV pad, for a night and the following day. My wife and I were so happy to have met such wonderful and down to earth people, whom we would never have had the opportunity to meet, otherwise, if not for this Forum.
What a wonderful time we had together going over our coaches, and the things we have done to them to make them more livable, and Jimmyd even got an oil change that he needed while on his trip, by yours truly. He was so appreciative, and I was happy I was able to do that for him.
We got to talk, learn about one another, and hopefully build a lasting relationship. The four of us went out to lunch and dinner and Marie and I got to show them around the area we live in and love, but most of all, had a great time together.
What a blessing to have met such nice and gracious people, who enjoy much of the things my wife and I enjoy …. motor homing and being with people who share the same love for the wonderful country we all live in, and, getting out to see and enjoy it.
Thank you Jimmyd and Ruth for such an enjoyable and memorable time Marie and I were able to have with you. We sincerely hope we will meet again in the near future.
I also hope each and every one of you on the Jayco Forum already have or will be in the same position to be able to make great relationships as a result of this Forum and enterprise on this part of this blog.
Jimmy and Ruth, thank you; we, most of all, wish you well and happy trails !!
