We must be in the minority because we sleep great on the mattress that came with our new camper.

Ours is fine too with a caveat. A 2 inch foam topper

We have used this mattress only the one weekend, it was phenomenal! of course it was MUCH better than the Denver, I slept well all weekend, and I hardly slept at all with the Denver! Time will tell on the quantity! We had to beef up the stopper we use to hold the bed open, this mattress is heavier!

Thanks for the great advice!

Lynn

LynnAllen,

Thrilled that you slept well!

We are headed to Maine for the month of July. We'll spend 45 nights on the road, at least we'll sleep well.

Thank you for the feedback.

Mike

Just purchased a Jayco 275 HT with the Simmons. Junk. Two weeks sleeping on this and both sides sag. I'm 170 and wife is around 125.

Have they switched from the Denver to Simmons?

We are very happy with our mattress, we slept 21 days on it so far...not a long history, but as we all know from our experiences here, one can sure be miserable in that amount of time!

Welcome to the forum.

I have not heard of many folks complaining about their Simmons mattress. But, lots of us have been disappointed with the Denver mattresses. I added a 3" memory foam mattress topper to our Denver mattress and that helped.

In some cases, like ours, the bed support was sagging. Some owners strengthened theirs as a DIY project. My dealer replaced the original under bed framing with 2"x 3" lumber.

After those two changes, we're getting a good night's sleep.

My 2015 264BHW came with a cheapo Denver Mattress which is not even worth burning. We have slept on it 60 times since we bought it in February 2015 and I must say it seems to get worse each time. I have a 3" memory foam topper and it still is not comfortable. It has a zipper on one side, don't know what that was for. Plus I am tired of my feet hanging off the foot of the bed (I'm 5'11"). An extra 6" for the bedroom is certainly a value (I think they know this..).

I am trading it in next year anyway so its not worth getting a new one now.

Back to the thread.. I hope the new ones come with better quality mattresses and everything else, so far I'm not impressed!
