This Could Be Yours!

For those looking for a "new" travel trailer", here's one that will make you the envy of the campground...and a lot lighter in the wallet!

Darn! I went back to get a better link, and it was gone. So sorry.

So, for those interested, there's a guy in California, that restored a 1950 33' trailer, which is one of only two known left to exist. If the link was good, the trailer was gorgeous! Sort of a resto-mod of RV's. It had a asking price of ONLY $975,000.

I'll keep trying to get the photos to work.

That thing is gorgeous, they did a stellar job keeping it vintage but making it modern. If I had a disposable income I’d buy something resto like that in a heartbeat.

I am always amazed at the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes in to a build like that.

Funny that they show a steam engine on the TV in the last shot. As I was looking through the photos I couldn't help but think the inside looked like an old Pullman car.

A beautiful restoration for sure, someone with money to burn might buy it. Will be interesting to see what happens.

It's a shame to spend almost a million dollars on a unit the can only be used for boon docking! Quick math shows that the unit is over 10 years old and could not get into restricted parks.

I removed one of the "https://" in the URL and it worked fine.

I'm curious as to what the trailer weighed originally and what they towed it with in 1950. That thing is gorgeous.

Looks real nice. Hard to believe it took ten years to rebuild. Unfortunately it has California pricing. Must be high on something thinking they can get almost a million for this. Still looks cool for the right California millionaire.

Enjoy the journey

TC, I was thinking the exact same thing. Considering it’s a 1950’s build with that generation of materials...it can’t be light. Absolutely gorgeous build.

Don't worry go ahead and buy that unit. Only $975,000.00 but being as it's
a 1953 you will still be turned away from some RV resort because of their 10
year rule.
