Thoughts on valve extenders for duallies

I picked up a couple braided line air valve extenders for the inner duallies today. This particular tire place has taken care of all the tire, oil, brake stuff on all of my RV's for the past 12+ years. I trust them very much. But.... today I went by and had my new spare tire rim mounted with a matching Michelin tire that matches the other 6. Hopefully I will never need it. While there, I asked about buying 4 of their best valve stem extenders for my duallies. They insisted that I only need two, one on each inner dual. I came home with extenders for the inner ones only.

I still think that I should add the same thing to the outer tires just to keep the balance good.

I never really liked the extenders. I had a set on my motorhome when I bought it and always had less air pressure in the extender equipped inner tire. After I chucked them I never had any uneven variance in air pressure.

I got the same advice from the truck shop where I purchased the braided extenders. I have had the only two for a year now with no issues and they do not leak air.

I have used dually extenders for 20 plus years- I have used Inner and outer extenders in the past but only use inner extenders now- I rarely encounter air loss on the inner duals- However, I always apply tread locker to the extenders- JMHO- DD
