Tire Size

Very recently bought a new 338 RSTS and noticed that one option that could have been available, had I ordered the trailer was 16" tires/wheels. My trailer has the standard 15" tires. I have a good friend that owns a flatbed and box trailer manufacturing business and has great prices on replacement tires and wheels. So I am curious if changing tires/wheels to a proper load range 16" is suggested and what are the benefits? Obviously the tires are a little bigger and rotate slightly less. But are there other advantages to having larger diameter tires?

I would do it even not knowing what tires you have. !6 inch tires and up a load range will give your tires a better load carrying ability and prevent potential expensive damage down the road. Go for it!

I highly recommend a TPMS also. Best thing I ever bought for towing peace of mind! Well the G614's were a close 2nd.
