Tires needed

Hey Guys, I am beginning to think about replacing the tires on Jayco Jay Flight 29RKS. The empty weight is around 6700 lbs, and the loaded weight is about 7500 lbs. I am thinking of going to Load D tire.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a brand that they like. Or does anyone have a bad experience with a brand of tires?

Safety first and price is second.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Maxxis gets good reviews and Goodyear now has an ST tire made in the USA (Endurance I think)

We swapped ours to Maxxis as well and went to a higher rating. I've heard a lot of good about the new Goodyears as well. If you need a ST tire, those are probably your best bet.

I just replaced mine with the Goodyear endurance from discount tire. I went up one load rating without changing tire size. I had the aluminum wheels so I was able to do that. The next higher load rating is an 80psi tire.

I don't have many miles on them so I can't offer a performance opinion. I did quite some research though and would by these or the maxxis.

In Arizona we are seeing lots of truck tires on campers.Get a better speed rating. The heat kills tires here, we replace tires every three years no mater how good they look. Last blow out we had did 3000 in damage. Happy Trails

Really don't think they think too much about millage when they make these units and put tires on them... I have the GY endurance, but i am not a fan of GY in general. I have been happy with the endurance so far. I have ST235/85R/16 Load E but time will tell. I plan on putting 10k plus miles on them a year so the bigger, stronger, badder is better in my book...

I swapped out my factory Ranier after only 500 miles or so. I went with Maxxis as well. So far perfect tires. Not even a 1 psi drop over the entire winter...

No China. Have been running the Maxxis on mine 3 seasons and next go around will probably go to the US made GY unless they get $$$$, then Maxxis again.
