To Cover or Not to Cover

Anyone out there cover their RVs in the winter months? If so, which ones do you recommend?

I have a cover for the AC unit that I put on after each trip and then cover the TT with a Adco cover after the season, no issues with my trailer and it looks just as good as new. It also keeps the bugs out of all the exterior vents too.

I asked the dealer about covers and they said not to bother. I live in a cold snowy winter climate.

We get about 14' of snow each winter and I use an ADCO cover. I never let more than 6 inches sit on the cover. It works great. I use the ladder cover that came with it to go over the AC unit. Works great. Only downside is if I leave it on when it gets warm with the humidity mold builds fast. So as soon as the snow melts I take it off again until next winter.

ADCO cover cone with a 2 year warranty too.

I normally cover my wheels and AC unit. Last winter, we had over 8' of snow fall in Massachusetts. No issues with the TT, but we are waiting on our new Jayco 5th Wheel, so looking into the future...but I'm thinking, Ive never had one, so why now...thanks for the responses.

I don't use a cover. I cover the AC and the wheels. We had our last trailer for 10 years and aside from faded decals the trailer looked like new. Keep it waxed and it'll be fine.

I'm curious, what the point of covering the A/C?
