Brake fluid works great

Brake fluid is designed to keep rubber seals pliable and soft in your automobile's brake system. My toilet seal had not been sealing completely (it would slowly drain over a period of a couple of hours) for about two years. At my dealers recommendation, I put about an ounce of brake fluid in the toilet for about two weeks while not using the fifth-wheel. Now, seal works like new again and continues to still work a year later. Brake fluid did not discolor the porcelain basin. Don't go to the trouble and cost to replace the seal until you have tried this. And, it is not going to hurt any of your knife valve seals either because first of all one or two ounces of brake fluid diluted by what ever it ends up with in your black tank is not going to have an impact. And, if it did, the only impact would be to improve the the condition of the black tank knief valves.
