If you're considering a trip to Southern Maine, take a look at Red Apple Campground. Located in Ardunal, it's 2.2 miles from Kennebunkport and located close to US1 for access to beaches and shopping. One of only 150 parks in the country to earn a Good Sam rating of 10-10-10, they work tirelessly to keep those grades. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. Red Apple has plenty to do for both children and adults and is definitely dog friendly. The sites are sizable, clean and organized. Do peruse their website for more information and reservations are definitely needed. A "heads up"... Our daily rate for our TT and tow was $55. And check the prices before using their lobster delivery service.

We were there week or so ago as part of our New England trip. It is a beautifully maintained park with a great location. Lots of seasonal sites but we were able to get a site.

The folks who run the place are the best and the lobster delivered to our site was a delicious decadent treat!
