tow mirrors

I recently upgraded from a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad cab(4.7) to a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500(5.7). On the 08 I had to use the slide on tow mirrors to safely tow my Jayflight 26MBH. I haven't towed the trailer yet, thanks to a warranty repair. Should I purchase another set of the tow mirrors for the 2012 or are the factory mirrors enough? Thanks for the feedback.

It's a Dodge, do the mirrors you have switch from horizontal to vertical? If they do, the Vertical position is the tow position and additional mirrors should not be necessary.

I just got tow mirrors for my 14 Ram 1500. I could not really see around my camper when towing. I bought them on amazon for about $40. That don't shake or vibrate while driving and they look good too. I got them on Amazon. Do a search for Ram tow mirrors part number 80710.

A1Auto has a great selection of quality replacement mirrors. They have plug n play tow upgrades that are just as good as factory for a fraction of the price. I bought them for my last two trucks w/out any issues.
