Tow service included?

I've read somewhere that some Mfrs include tow insurance for a period of time with purchase. Before I spend money by reinstating our previous insurance, is Jayco going to cover me?

Okay, thanks for that information, but that site clearly does not indicate the program offers towing as a benefit. Am I wrong? If not, it's not sufficient to let me avoid signing up for such a program with my auto insurer or a Good Sam type service. Any recommendations? I think I'm switching insurers and the new one doesn't have a useful tow program. It's limited to $75, which will get me down the block, but not across the street.

I would keep looking. There is more than one insurance company out there. The towing part of your policy should be adjustable. Perhaps they quoted you their minimum.

I vaguely remember towing for year if we had a breakdown which included a tow to the nearest service center. But because we had a non-motorized rv, we figured we wouldn't have a warranty situation where we would need a tow for the tt. So we just went ahead and got the emergency towing with the new tt insurance package through our Geico policy. Hope this helps

I had, and still do as of this month, Safeco insurance. It had a great tow deal, total for two trucks, SUV & trailers was a bit over $16/yr. But annually I price other companies. Began that when we moved from back east to Colorado and I had to reapply with Allstate, who we had had for many years. Discovered we were paying way too much. So now I check pricing and, sure enough, I came up with Hartford between 3 and 4 hundred less, apples to apples coverage, a real surprise. But they only offer that minimal tow deal. Still, even with separate tow cost I have to switch. BTW, customer service is important when you only pay premiums and make no claims, and Safeco was great. We'll see about Hartford. Downside, I have to join AARP for one year. My donation to their ongoing crusade to Nanny us to death.

Towing the trailer is included with the insurance policy that we have. They will tow our truck and the trailer in if either has a problem.
