Sorry, it may be that this unit only monitors 5 tires. I only needed coverage for my TT, not my TV. That would be a question for the mfgr., and I didn't ask.

Roger

P.S. I checked the manual for the TM55c, and it clearly states that it monitors a max of only 5 tires. Again, not a problem for my needs.

Fairenatic,

The TST 507RV can handle up to 22 tires. You can also get flow-thru sensors with it and the sensors have replaceable batteries also like the TireMinder TM55c-B that Roger got.

The down side is that the TST 507RV is more expensive then the TireMinder TM55c-B that Roger got.

That's why I settled on the InnoTechRV system, $189 with 10 sensors, can handle up to 22, doesn't need a booster, at least with my rig & toad. Seems to work very well, gives me constant pressure and temperature.

This is the one I was looking at but I wanted to make sure I was not overspending needlessly.

Now this model sounds promising. I will dig into it. Thanks for posting.

I tried that. Jayco advised me to call the wheel manufacturer!

Right here:

TireMinder TM55c TPMS for Trailers, Trucks, Cars and SUVs - Minder Research

If you're towing a TT you need to select the w/Booster option.

I went with the TST 507 Flow Through system and it's been great. Saved me once so far with a low tire. I changed over the valve stems to metal as the rubber factory were leaking when you added the sensor. Some have success running stock stems others don't. It's different for each rim. You might loose 2-5 psi over the course of a day running with the rubber stems. If I flexed my rubber stems without the system you could hear it leaking so I went to all metal.

With my unit I do not need a repeater and it's every bit of 40ft ft from the unit to the rear most sensor. Also with the 507FT I take off the sensors when parked to save the batteries. The 510 have a 5-7 year battery that is sealed and must be replaced by TST for $20.00 each.

Mine was ordered from Plug it Right who extended the warranty to 3 years on the system.

For those of you that have the TST 507, it appears that it displays info for only one tire at a time, is that correct? If so, does it scroll through them on it's own or do you do it manually?
