trailer aid

Anyone use this? Just ordered one for my light trailer. Looks like it be a great option over a bottle jack.

Welcome to JOF

I assume by "Trailer Aid" you are referring to the following Camco product:

I recall some members referencing the product in the past, hope they chime in on how well it worked for them.

Takes up a lot of space.

I tried it on mine to see how it would work...love it! Beats being down on my knees with a bottle jack.

I use the "Lego Blocks" that you use to level the TT side to side.
Make a ramp out of the lego blocks and back up or pull forward on the lego blocks depending on which tire is flat. The good tire is on the blocks and the flat tire is off the ground to change the tire.
I agree with "troutslayer" that they are rather large and take up space.
If you feel more comfortable using the "Trailer Aid", by all means, use it. Hopefully you don't have to, but it's there if the time comes.

Used it last weekend to change out a flat in a tight spot. Worked very well, loved it and I hope I never have to use it again...

Works great on my 11,000lb 5er. The space it takes up is well worth the lack of space taken up by the bottle jack left at home, and I don't have to crawl under the 5er on the side of the road.

Will the Trailer-Aid get the flat tire up with the Mor-Ryde 3000 suspension Jayco installs on Eagle Travel Trailers?
