Trailer almost killed me!

Last weekend I was at the trailer ALONE, and I had a shower. When I went to get out, I discovered that I was LOCKED IN! The latch for holding the shower closed while traveling somehow swung over and locked.

After about 10 minutes of expletives, combined with laughing, and wondering how they were going to explain this at my funeral, I somehow got the latch open
.

Gibby3275, got to agree W/ Popjim52 But don't feel bad because when we were looking at our trailer that was the very first thing my youngest son said. What if you were in the shower and someone locked you in. Guess now I will have to keep an eye on my trailer..:hihi:

Now I am glad that I have a curtain and not a door. First good thing about having a curtain.

I had the same experience. I fixed it by moving the latch up to the top of the shower door, easy fix, drill only one hole. Now I can reach it from inside the shower. So can my wife, who is height challenged. I was happy she was home when I got locked in.

Oh geez! I was giggling as I read your post. It seems the more things that go wrong on a trip the more memorable it is and the more we laugh about it later on!

That's funny! But that's only because I wasn't standing there dripping and wondering how the heck I was getting out of there! Thanks for posting!
