Trailer back from repair work!!

Called the dealer the other day and just happen to catch them the day my camper repairs were finished. I posted in another thread about the shower leaking in our 28BHBE. Turns out the shower door bottom tracks were leaking and dealer had to put some type of strip down below the tracks and reseal. They ended up working on it for about 2 weeks. Also had the door actuator replaced.

But I'm kinda disappointed in the treatment from my dealer when I picked it up. When the lady handed my the paperwork on what was done, she just said "ok, you can go hook up and have a nice day". I said "where is it parked?" I was thinking that I would have gotten a walk through w/ a service tech on what and how they fixed my stuff. But nope..nada, nothing...zilch... She just pointed me to a field and said its over there somewhere... So I found it; hooked up and left. So I wasn't really feelin the love, so to speak.

Happy RVing,

Kevin, you could always ask to "show me what you have done." I have never yet had a dealer turn me down and they know I want leave with my unit unless it is satisfactory. But of course, I am on my third unit from this dealer so he is pretty used to how I operate. They seem to appreciate my business. They are currently checking out the issues with the Tow Max tires as most of their Jayco units on their lot have Tomax Power King tires on them from Jayco.

Kevin: I don't know how large the dealership was where your trailer repairs were done. I've had auto repairs done at dealerships where the cashier is the one that takes my money and gives me my keys.

Like namusmc65 said, if I have questions/issues about the repair, I have to ask to speak with someone in the service department; the cashier was clueless beyond cash/credit/debit questions. In your case, apparently the 'paperwork person' was also lacking in common courtesy.
