Trailer Brakes Help???

I got no brakes on my 145 rb SLX Swift. my 7 way connector on the truck 5 oclock pin tests about 9 volts constant, regardless of whether the lever is depressed or not. Any ideas what to check on the trailer???? Im assuming the controller is all working then. No green light comes on when I plug the plug in> Lights all work dandy....

It sounds like a truck problem and not trailer. You need to look for pin numbers in the plug to determine what's going on. 9 volts constant on "any" pin is not correct. If this link works it shows the 7 pin wiring diagram. Otherwise e-trailer.com would have it on their site.

PS- If that is the factory 7 pin on the bumper, check the plug in the back of it. I had the one on my old Dodge corrode and destroyed the receptacle so I just cut it off and wired in a Hoppy replacement from Walmart.
