trailer issues

Is it normal for every trip with our trailer to have something break? last trip the fresh water tank bracket came loose. It was installed with self tapping screws, Now I have a $700 repair bill because the trailer is just out of warranty and extended warranty wont cover because its structural and not a water line problem. Love the trailer but getting tired of all of the continuous repairs,,,,and we purchased it new in 2016

Things will break, I found it best to look over everything under the TT now and then. Dont you love those extended warranties that dont seem to cover anything that breaks, I will never buy one. If I knew they would cover it I would let the tank fall out then its a water line problem.

My first year was definitely a learning curve.
My bracket on my water tank also came off on one side - I heard a huge "Bang" when pulling it to storage and when I looked underneath, the bracket was hanging by one side and about a foot off the ground.
Luckily my dealer took care of it right away with no hassles, and even luckier was the fact I didn't do any other damage!

I think a lot depends on how much road time you put on the trailer. If you're making a lot of short trips you could spend many nights in the RV and experience few problems versus someone that spends the same number of nights in their RV but making frequent long road trips. I know these things are referred to as travel trailers or mobile homes but I'm thinking they really aren't build for the stresses experienced during extended trips on the road.
