What cleaner and protectant does everyone use on their trailer roofs?

I use Spic and Span to clean. I haven't used a protectant.

I use a generic version of OxyClean. Also have never used a protestant. This is our 2nd trailer. The first was an '03 that we owned for 10 years.

It depends upon what material your roof is covered with. If you aren't sure you can email Jayco with your VIN number and they will check your trailer's work order. They even emailed me the manufacturer's reccomended care and cleaning directions. For my Dicor roof it basically says any mild, non abrasive, all purpose cleaner will do (Spic N Span, Top Job, Mr Clean, etc.). 2 to 3 times per year.

I've been told several times, once by a rep for rubber roofs and by a dealer spic and span. When I had the class A with fiberglass, I was told never to wax it. Last year I saw a person use Clorox and water. Boy, did it ruin the side wall finish.

I wash it with the same carwash soap and soft brush I use on the entire exterior. I haven't put anything else on it.

I use Protect All Rubber Roof Cleaner followed by their Rubber Roof Treatment twice a year. After 5 years of Calif desert sun the roof appears to still be in very good condition.

Roof is Dicor Diflex II tpo. We use a variety of things to clean, but no protectant. Not really necessary on protectant.
