Trailer Tires, Balanced or not????

About to put 4 new Goodyear Endurance (Made in the USA) tires on my Jayflight 26' Travel Trailer. What are the opinions on balancing or not balancing? I don't think my boat trailer tires are balanced, however with a travel trailer it may come more into play as it's towed longer distances for longer periods of time than your typical boat trailer? I'm leaning towards balancing?

Any thoughts????

Balance
Saves the trailer vibrating going down the road. Better for bearings too!
I balanced 4+1 spare

Balanced tires help keep the trailer from shaking apart. BALANCE THEM!!

I replaced my 4 MIC tires with 4 GY Endurance tires and had them balanced about 4 months go. I have never had any of my previous TT's tires balanced before, but it took less than 5 miles to notice the big improvement. Time will tell, but I am hoping it will extend the life of the tires.

Next.........

Discount Tire, balanced mine, without me asking. Also installed metal valve stems. Go with both!

Balancing will help keep some of the shaking & vibrations down.

Was thinking about having them balanced again. Discount Tire said they would do it for free.

An out of balance tire can wear down to the cord in 150-miles, just from bouncing on the same spot; I lost one on a car in a short trip after it lost its weight.

Do it and ask about balancing lug centric instead of hub centric.

Either way it's a go for me.

I'm on my 4th travel trailer and have never had a trailer tire balanced and I've never noticed any uneven tire wear or any kind of vibration. Lucky I guess. I'm also gonna bet that 98% of the towables out there are running on unbalanced tires. That being said, next year I'll be replacing my current tires with the Endurance brand. Will they have metal valve stems? Yep. Will they be balanced? Yep.

For all the one promoting to balance the tires, tell me what method your mechanics used. Probably the same one he use for cars since very few invest in the proper equipement .

99% of times its a waste of money and time.
