Trailers finally home

Our 26bhs is finally home. We have to buy a few more things for it and then we are good to go.
We are trying to figure out a close to home short trip to take. Any advise is welcome we are in the San Francisco Bay Area. We were going to head to costanoa but that fell though the cracks. First trailer / rv for our family ever we are super excited. I'm sure you all know.

Staying close is a great idea. Some even spend a night or two in the driveway if it is doable.
Make a list of what you forgot!

We did the same thing - went to a CG 20 miles away for our first trip. You learn a lot that first time setting up and tearing down. Go somewhere other than the driveway just to get towing time, backing into a spot, and hookups.

We spent the weekend about 5mi from the house with full hookups... priceless.

Congratulations. We also live in the SF Bay Area and have a 2015 Jay Flight 26BHS that we purchased new last February. We love our trailer. We have not had any issues with it. We took it on a 3,000 mile journey last summer to Colorado. We added a 320 watt solar system to keep the batteries charged and a fantastic fan to the main living area vent. One local place we like to go is Lake Del Valle in Livermore. It is part of the East Bay Regional Park District. Enjoy your new trailer!
