My wife just got a quote for our pending new Jayco. $136/year with $500 deductible... but because we have our house and 2 cars in the same bundle, our total insurance for the year actually will DROP by $139 after we add the RV...

Ours is with State Farm as well. Maybe a few bucks cheaper but in the same ball park.

We also added ours to our Allstate Policy. We have 2 vehicles and 2 homes. Was pretty inexpensive. Unsure of coverage, so now I'm going to call on Monday to to get more specifics!!

Guess I need to challenge my State Farm agent. My coverage with them is $296/year and has a $1000 deductible. No claims.

My DW works for State Farm, I have learned a thing or two about insurance. She has told me several things could affect premiums. Some of those things are past claims, your geographic location, how many policies you may have with your company (multi policy discounts), your age and or driving record to name a few. I was surprised to learn your credit rating has a big impact on what you pay for insurance premiums. Our premium of $189 drops as the TT gets older.

You are very correct that rates are dependent of many variables, including credit score in some states, but not all. in California for instance it is not legal to use credit scores with respect insurability and/or insurance pricing.

I became very interested in this over the past couple years as we went about eliminating all debt and credit from our life and know this is going to negatively impact FICO scores.

For the record we have Allied (Nationwide) for everything we own. Pay ~$280 on the TT policy, believe the deductible is $250 but could $500. Most important for us is the liability coverage, and having liability coverage at all time (hitched, camping, or while in storage) is very important to me -- I just have way to much to lose should someone get hurt playing on or around our TT. We are very satisfied.

$198 with $500 deductible per year with State Farm. Your liability coverage is provided by your truck policy.

Have been covered by State Farm for almost 50 years. Several claims, all taken care of quickly. No claims on the house or for bodily injury. DW has a wreckumup about every 5 years. Totaled her car about a year ago and has now hung up her licence.
Well...actually she no longer has anything to drive even thou she still has the licence.

Love her to death, but she won't be driving the Tundra, our only vehicle.
