Travel trailer jack

So I bought a 2015 travel trailer - I assume they do not come with a jack to change a flat tire -what do you suggest I purchase? Thanks Tim

I recommend a good bottle jack more than capable of lifting your trailer. A 10 ton bottle jack would be minimum for up to most 30' bumper pulls in my opinion. I would also add a pair of jack stands to the list to be used in conjunction with the bottle jack. Never know when you'll have to jack up the trailer on unlevel ground. Those jack stands may save a disaster.

Ditto with what Jerry713 had to say with one slight exception. You don't say what size your 2015 travel trailer is, so if it is small and space and weight are limited, then at least get an 8-ton bottle jack. I purchased my 8-ton bottle jack from Harbor Freight for $35. And don't forget to purchase a lug nut wrench. Most new trailers don't come with one and if the previous owner did not buy one for the TT, you need to get one.

What's the weight of your trailer? Single, double or triple axle trailer?

it is a Jayco Jay Flight 9000 lbs and 33 feet - double axle - I am leaning towards the drive up lift

Some leveling blocks should accomplish the same task for less money and less weight.

That said, I always carry a 12 ton harbor freight bottle jack... except the one time I needed it when I broke a leaf spring. So NOW I have a dedicated 12 ton bottle jack in the front compartment of the trailer.
