Travel trailer nj to outer banks best way

Looking for the quickest way to outer banks from north jersey towing a 30' travel trailer. I assume we can't go thru Baltimore due to propane restrictions in tunnels.? What's the best way and approximate time?

Here is an old thread on this topic. There are stop lights on my suggested route, but no DC or Baltimore issues.

Timing is everything going on 95. You will need to take the Key bridge if you go the 95 way. CBBTunnel has no restrictions, but if you go through others in Norfolk, VA stop, turn off at the designated pull off before going through.

Not sure if its the quickest but you could take the Jersey turnpike then over Del Mem Bridge then follow Rt 1 to RT 113 OR Rt 13 all the way down to the CBBT then around Norfolk to Outer Banks, or use the Garden State Parkway and take the Cape May ferry then south on 113, but the ferry will be very pricey towing a trailer.
