Travel trailer owners take note?

Has anyone seen this new hitch from Weigh-Safe? It gives tongue weight and apparently you can adjust everything except hitch head height while hooked up via the adjustment screws. Be nice to adjust hitch ball pitch without loosening everything and hitch head height while just removing a locking pin. I can't seem to find the ratings or price on the hitch but I'll bet it's somewhat spendy. Of course, nothing will replace the Cat scale.

It does look a little pricey, but it's really cool. There's an authorized dealer 6 miles from me. The next time I drive by, I'll stop in and inquire about pricing.

I wonder if it's more for folks that tow multiple different trailers? Our Equalizer's set up for our one TT, and I don't think I need to change it from the initial set up.

Only reason I could see needing an adjustment would be if you started putting that much more stuff in the trailer

For myself I could see that as a possibility. Normally I camp with hookup so I only carry about 10 to 20 Gallons of water (around 1/3 full). Next year I plan to start racing RC planes again which means dry camping and therefore a full 80 gallons of water ahead of the axles so my tongue would be so much heavier.

It looks like you can get the tongue weight without the WDH bars in place, and then again with the bars hooked up. Then you could calculate if you're in the 10% to 15% range for the TW, and adjust it if necessary with their wrench. That was my take on it after looking at their web site.

Just watched the video on their WD system, looks interesting but my trailer weight seldom varies enough to worry about. My WD is working fine and the trailer pulls easily...don't know if the cost of a new WD hitch would give me any added advantage. I would like to know my tongue weight now and then

Anybody know the total cost of their WD hitch setup? It's not shown of their products page: https://www.weigh-safe.com/shop/#

I just found this online. Says out of stock and/or coming soon.

The way I interpreted the video on set up is with the adjustment screw you can actually raise/lower the front end of the tow vehicle to make sure you're back to stock height. Nice but pricey.

These are not the actual hitch. The actual hitch is a total weight distribution package.
