Travel trailer stolen!

I pulled up to the storage lot to pick up my 32BHDS to get it cleaned up and ready for this weekends trip and its gone. Im sitting in the office now reviewing securiity tapes hoping to see the ******* that stole it. I am so incredibly mad right now. Not only for the loss of the TT that we love, but my sons birthday is this weekend and he was so looking forward to this trip.

I hope there is a special spot in Hell reserved for thieves.

Something tells me that even with gap coverage I'm going to get hoses here. The camper, my HA, all of our stuff.... Argh!!!

Wow! So sorry to hear this. We were just discussing this last week, or so. I hope the security tapes show what you need.

Unfortunately none other than the cameras. Not too many choices in this area. I just don't know if they were smart enough to hook up to the Hensley Arrow, or just unhooked it all.

That's what I was thinking.

Not many folks have a clue operating a Hensley.

Hope they get what's coming to them.

I really hate to hear this and I am sorry you have to deal with it. Now I am concerned about mine. I keep our TT in public storage too. It seems like it could be pretty easy to pull in hitch up and leave with just about anyone trailer there. There isn't anyone checking when I come and go from the storage lot, then fence is only pad locked after hours not when the office is open. I really hope they catch the *******s who took it.

Curious, was there any type of hitch lock on the trailer? I know just about anything can be defeated by a motivated thief...but I am wondering just how much my locks are helping secure mine.

Does anyone ever put some kind of device in their trailers that could be checked on a GPS to locate it? Surely with new technology and being able to track cell phones, i pads etc, this would be a simple thing to do

To answer some of the questions:

I last saw the TT this past Saturday, so it couldn't have been gone for more than a couple of days. I've watched the footage through Sunday morning now, nothing yet.

No hitch lock, I've never seen one used with a Hensley. The other RVs stored here have them, and theyre still here, so I guess thats draw back. I had been thinking of running a big chain and lock through the tires, wish I did now.

Sorry to hear about your TT Ranger. Hopefully you'll see something on the security tapes that will help. Don't know how old you son is, but hope he's old enough to understand and not too disappointed. Wish him a big Happy Birthday from us . And I know you'll keep us posted.

That sux. What usually happens is druggies steal them, take them to the woods or mountains and use stolen trailers to cook meth in then leave them after a few days of cookin'.

Sorry you are having to deal with this, Ranger. I have absolutely ZERO tolerance for a thief. Hope all works out for the best for you and family.

Yeah, that's what I've heard as well. That's one of the things that really bug me, something that has been cared for that much and given our family such great memories will be used to ultimately destroy other peoples lives.
