Tree Damage

Well I knew it was only a matter of time. Keeping a camper deep in the woods and surrounded by trees would eventually lead to some tree damage. Just got this emailed to me from one of my buddies. It is a picture of my camper out at the lake with a pine tree slowly starting to come down on the trailer. Luckily it is not fully resting on the trailer, at least that is what I am being told. Looks like I get to make an unexpected trip up to the lake tonight!

Yikes! I hope it didn't do any serious damage.

Well, look at the bright side, you get lots of fire crackling firewood!

Been there, done that. Just get the trailer outta there and then cut the tree down.

In my case the tree was resting on the roof. And then when we got it off, another tree that had been resting on it came down from the other direction.

One heckofa dent in the roof. But fortunately these 55 year old trailers with metal roofs were built a lot better in the day.

A gallon of Henry Tar and she's ready to camp another day...
