TV mount in new X23B

What precautions should I be aware of other than the obvious of not using too long a screw :-)

Am I to assume that there is a factory installed mounting plate (aka a piece of plywood) at the manufacture recommended mounting point behind the wall?

short enough screws, but not to short.

Personally, I would recommend contacting Jayco with your vin number and ask for the side wall drawing. It will tell you exactly where the structure is at.

I contacted Jayco. They got back to me and said that I don't have a mount for the TV, that it's designed to be placed on the counter and put away when traveling.

What I find strange about this is that Jayco's pictures online show a TV mounted to the wall (see below). Look at mounts from Mono Price. Very good quality and reasonable prices. I bought one for my old trailer that could be easily removed because it had a folding TV stand. I use it still and have it clamped to the TV shelf, which is above my fridge.

Here's a though, use a below cabinet mount. The entertainment systems easily slides out so you can get at the panel below it. Here's an example of a below cabinet mount that might work. But check Mono Price carefully, they will have others. Search on both TV and monitor mounts.
