Tv reception

I have an external digital tv antenna with a 150 mi distance. My Jayco is equipped with 3 tvs inside and 1 outside. The problem I am having is some tvs pick up more channels than others. Any suggestions

Make sure all the coax connections are tight, even pull the amplifier and wall plates and check the ones on the back of them.

Have you had each individual TV go through a channel search?

There's guy with a Youtube channel that can help you learn to get the most from what you have by manufacturer and model....Antenna Guy.

Not all TV tuners are created equal. The most recent and most 'sensitive' spec is ATSC 3.0. Not all tv's are manufactured with one of that spec. You may have a mix. An over the air antenna is just an antenna. The signals broadcast are digital. 'Digital' antennas are usually a basic UHF (only some are VHF) with a small amp board in place...if it's an indoor version. Some outside versions will have an amp also, but not all. BTW, digital signals follow the same path as analog...ie: line of sight and trees, buildings, hills and even weather will interrupt the signal and not much can be done about it. I would be very surprised that you can pull beyond 45 miles regularly.

Hate to bring this up but think about how many splitters are behind the walls and are likely to be loose!

If the TVs are not all same make and model, then I too would suspect some variation. If you're seeing dramatic differences in channel reception, then I like the idea of splitters/loose cables attenuating the signal to some TVs

Before I started pulling cables (other than those very easy to get to) I would swap the TV's around and see if the problem followed the TV or stayed specific to their antenna connection location. ~CA
