Twins?

Was just wondering if anybody else here has ever ran into their twin while camping. The reason I ask is...

I've owned my TT for almost a year now and have camped a bunch of times ever since. In that time, I've met two of my camping twins. They had the same TT (year, model, colors), same identical TV (same color, model, year). One even had some eerie similarities. I have two boys, they have two boys. They had a goldendoodle dog, we have a goldendoodle. They had two coolers sitting outside. Ours were identical. The guy even had the same rod and reel I had. Their names were Tom & Diane. Ours is Todd and Dina. Just very strange to run into others with identical setups. Curious to know if any of you have ever ran into this??

I have run into some identical units, but that was as far as it went. Your experience was too real!

My virtual 'twin' and I passed one another in a store. I've seen my TT twin, but not with my TV. I've seen my TV twin, but not with my TT.

But, you, sir, take the cake! Eerie similarities? WOW! I can't even begin to imagine the odds of what you experienced.

Ya know...funny you say that. They pretty much thought that same thing.

I swore it was a hoax from our friends but it was too elaborate. We still keep in touch with each other.

So ... do they belong to JOF and if so - hope they acknowledge the eeriness.

They say everybody has a twin. I guess you're safe as long as you don't hear dueling banjos in the background.

Camping twin, nope!

I met my brother’s twin. He just lives about 8 blocks from me. I was at a home improvement store by our houses. I came up to what I thought was my brother said hi, then all of a sudden I realized it was someone else. Same size, dresses the same, same facial features, same age range, wears the same style hat, I could go on and on. I have run into him a few times now, at that store.

You're a better man than I. I hate to say it but I would have been a bit too creeped out to befriend them.

I was at first but everything turned out pretty cool. We laughed about it. The only creepy thing really was, they took pics of our setup to show their parents and friends.

Every time we have gone camping, regardless where, we run into our sons twin. And his parents have the same tv, tt, and parents names!!!!

But that's because we have identical twin boys.... Lol

That would be very weird!!! Do you guys live in the same general area???

I know there was a report a few weeks back of a gentleman in the Saginaw, Mi area who had the same name and birthdate as another man. And they lived within 10miles or so (I think it was) of each other. Started having issues when the one gentleman passed away and the other (still living) gentleman was declared deceased by the state... Not sure if there is more similarities beyond that.

Nah, they live in Va Beach and we live in upper Maryland.

We were camping at Alice Lake during the Labour Day long weekend and as I was backing into my site, this lady walking her dog stopped in front of our site and kept staring at us. Once I got into position, I got out of my truck and asked her if I could help her and she said, are you Dave? I went excuse me? She apologized and said that she thought I was her cousin. She said that she was expecting him to arrive and said that our trailer was the same as his and he was supposed to be driving a black pick up. Well sure enough 15 minutes later a Black pickup shows up pulling an identical unit, same year, colour, make and model. Driver is Asian like me and pulls in next to our site. He lives in the same area we live in so it was like wow...He bought his in Kelowna and I bought mine in Langley but he paid more and has a couple less options. He did not have the electric option on his hot water tank and the control panel was less optioned than mine. We became friends and I helped him diagnose that he had a faulty propane regulator, he could not fire up anything on propane and this included heat. They hung out with us over the long weekend.

I have had a small number of people approach me thinking I was someone they knew that looked just like me. It is kinda freaky but I have never meet one yet!
