Two new rigs, VOLARE & SENECA XT

From RV Business:

Jayco Unveils Volare, Seneca XT at Homecoming

Under the Jay Feather brand comes the single-axle Volare travel trailer, which is all new for 2023.

On the motorized side of Jayco, an all-new Seneca Super C is aimed at the adventurous off-grid crowd.

I really think they should have named the new Super C something else to differentiate it from the Seneca, especially being on a different chassis. This just makes it harder to help and discuss issues in the forums.

The outside of the Volare looks just like SOB camper we saw a few weeks back. Don't recall the manufacture. Thought it looked a bit weird. The front window on that one, was at least 2x larger.

It's similar to the design of the Airstream Basecamp model. Not to be pessimistic about it, but I see that front window potentially shattering from a rock kicked up.

They may be ugly, but the old front window covers they used to put on did save the glass.

I wonder how the Seneca XT will differ at all from the Thor Magnitude other than color schemes, etc.?

The seneca XT appears lifted. I would never take it down a trail, but any extra clearance is a good thing.

Don't recall who's video. The XT has a 4" lift. I believe they said they 4 wheel drive.

4 wheel drive on that configuration likely means the front will be dug in too. Hard for me to imagine a road or a beach requiring 4 wheel drive where that wouldn't be down to it's axles in short order.
