Unpopular Jayco options: I actually use the ...
Unpopular opinion #1: I actually use the Capital Grill in my outdoor kitchen.
Of course I don't use it to cook food right on the surface; that would be insane - who would try that? But I have used it 4 times now as a stove top burner with great results. It boils water and heats a skillet great.
Unpopular opinion #2: I bought and enjoy the overpriced Furion Lit speaker. It's convenient and works and I always know where it is and that it is charged.
What things have you found that you use despite their lack of popularity or their bad reputation?

I drop massive, stinky, steak-and-beer-fuelled morning deuces in my black tank, and I'm proud of it. No idea why people are so scared to #2 in their campers.

Wow SkyBound, seems you have really been waiting to get that off your ... chest.
I am also not sure why some people are afraid to clean their black tank with cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing products. They claim to be preserving magic microbes in there.

I use my ladder to actually walk on the roof on a regular basis.

Lot of people won't cook on their stove tops but I do. An I'm right there with ya on the #2. Also very unpopular to take em places where you need 4 wheel drive to get to your spot and I'm drivin in the mud weekend after weekend during hunting season.

We don’t cook inside much. Mainly because there are always 6-7 of us, and it gets done much faster outside on the camp chef. Second, the food smells tend to hang around in the trailer way too long.
With a toy hauler, we’re not afraid to get out and dirty.

If I could afford a second trailer I'd love to have a toy hauler for hunting. Can be a pain loadin an unloading 4 wheeler in truck sometimes. Also be nice for the generator so I wouldn't have to ratchet strap it to the brackets on the sides of the couch.

I always leave the grey tank open unless I'm close to breaking camp, in which case I close it so I have enough grey water to flush the sewer hose. Wasn't even aware that was a 'thing'.
As to cooking smells in the camper - I totally agree. After I'm done eating, I don't want to smell it anymore. But that's what the Fanastic Fan is for. Open one window, close the rest, and crank that fan. Smells don't stick around very long.

We force friends and family to sleep on the trifold sofa when they visit us and then listen to the moans and groans all night. Funny how they don’t wanna come back
