Anyone run a tee and valves to make an air hose outlet from thier onboard air bag compressor to fill tires?

I do not have an onboard or bags, have given it some thought but haven't jumped yet. I've read threads where posters have run several features with on board air: bags, air horns, a chuck for external use (tires, floats...). Usually this type of setup will use a tank and a compressor suited for 50% or higher duty cycle. All the features will drive the $$ up and it looks like it'd be easy to spend $1000 without installation.
