Vacation Liability Insurance

How much should I get? One company told me that some campgrounds require a certain limit. Has anyone heard of that?

Your homeowners policy probably provides similar coverage.

The good thing is your homeowner’s policy usually covers you and your family’s negligent behavior no matter where it happens. For example, if your son accidentally hits a baseball through your neighbor’s window and you have liability insurance, it is probably covered. If your toddler son darts in front of an elderly woman walking in the mall and causes her to fall, your policy should take care of her injuries too.

In 35 years I've never been asked. And people wonder why Camping World gets such a bad rap.

I talked to Stacy about this... She refers about 400 homeowners insurance policies a year... to various insurers... Need more information on what is going on....

Strange, CW has never sent us a advertisement on that. Only for extended warranty and tire insurance. I feel kinda left out on this one...

Kind of sounds line the 'Microsoft Rep." that calls and says your computer is telling them that it is about to CRASH! He/She needs to remote in and fix all the problems. Then they royally mess up your computer, Get your data and charge you $500.00. HUMMMPH!

BEEN CAMPING ALL MY LIFE AND NEVER HEARD OF ANY CAMPGROUND ASKING FOR LIABILITY INSURANCE!
They want your money.

A regular umbrella policy through homeowners insurance covers all liability above and beyond.

Please buy from CW. Their stock can always use the boost.

Think it is just a coincidence the TV show staring Marcus Lemonis is called "The Profit"?

More on the subject... looks like they are targeting "temporary residence" language. So if you are taking a month long trip, your RV becomes a temporary residence, not an RV.

The “nd” must be a misspelled “and”.
