Vanity mirror fell off!

I recently returned from a trip and disconnected my Eagle Fifth Wheel. When I went inside I found the vanity mirror broken on the floor. The corner of the mirror put a dent in the floor. I’m out of warranty but plan to contact Jayco to see if they will help me with this. It looks like some double stick tape and an adhesive was used to adhere the mirror to the vanity door. If I have to repair it myself I would appreciate any suggestions on what to use to adhere it. I was thinking a plastic mirror might be a better choice but I haven’t decided on that yet.

I noticed my coming loose and did not want to find it broken on the floor. I used construction adhesive and clamps with boards to hold it while it dried.

After thinking it over I came to a solution. I searched a few websites and found a beveled mirror 20x26 “open box returned item in perfect condition” for $40.00, regular price $129. My cabinet door is 20x26. The mirror has a frame, after I clamp and glue it I will put screws through the door into the frame on all four sides. I also have a piece of thin 1” aluminum angle I’m going to screw on the bottom of the door from the back creating a 1/4” shelf at the door bottom front. The mirror frame can sit on that. It’s never coming off again.

Definitely sounds like sturdy fix.

Let’s see. So far my entertainment cabinet came loose and was bouncing up and down, caused the floor of the slide to sag under it. I screwed those back in place. I have to bungee the TV or it would definitely fall off. P traps under kitchen sink came loose. The curved wall behind the bed detached. I’m waiting for the upper cabinets to come loose. Jayco should rethink their suspension system and tires. 80lbs of pressure seems like a lot but I don’t want a blowout so that’s what’s in my tires. A few more screws and less staples would go a long way in these trailers.
Imagine if your pickup was put together with staples.
