W.t.h.
We purchased a 2017 24rbs in June. Since then we have slept in it for approximately 30 nights. After about the 7th night I started waking up with a sore back and the mattress developed a considerable dip. My wife and I are by no means overweight people. I mentioned it to the dealer and was told this was typical for a travel trailer mattress. I decided to do a little investigation. I tried to find a brand label on the mattress but there was none. All that was there besides the law tag was a tag saying distributed by Patrick industries. One end of the so called mattress had a zipper on it so I opened it up. Surprise surprise surprise. What I found was 3 layers of batting. This is supposed to be a mattress? With what we paid for the trailer you think they could put a decent mattress in it. Not impressed!

Looks like you got the special Black, Beige, Black carpet foam mattress. Usually they charge extra for that!

You're not alone.............No one is impressed with the mattress used in the RV industry.
Very high end RV's have the same problem.
Some replace them and some put a foam topper on it. The choice is yours........

I agree the mattress sure does not offer a good nights sleep. I thought about a topper but without a firm foundation the hole will only get deeper so that was out. I stopped by a local high end furniture stores warehouse to look at what they had to offer. I found brand new in the wrapper Sealy iComfort memory foam mattress king size, MSRP $2800 now out the door price of $600. I have a similar mattress at home and love it, now my problem was the king was to wide for the RV so after looking at a few youtube videos I picked one up and chopped 10 inches off the width with an electric knife, put it back in the cover and now I sleep just as good on the road as at home. You can buy memory foam RV size mattress on Amazon but the reviews were not the best for a few hundred dollar savings.

We had the similar complaint.
We bought a Sleep Number bed and put the original mattress away for trade in day!

Have been searching for a new one ourselves. Denver mattress, but already bottomed out to the plywood.

I really like this one. It's not to plush(I prefer firm) and not to firm(she likes plush). And it's not too bad on the wallet either.
I prefer this one to my temperpedic at home! I highly recommend it!
Oh yeah Im about 220lbs.

Update on mattress problem. Spoke to dealer again showing them the pictures and they agree there is a problem and will replace said mattress. Will keep you posted once I receive the new one.
